Exciting News!

Our Field Experience have begun!

Last week our Kindergarten students visited the NYPL - St. George Branch: They received a tour of the library and read aloud books about Families to celebrate their unit of study the History of Me and learn what makes them unique.

Our 5th grade students visited the NY Historical Society:  They learned about the time period after the revolutionary war observed artifacts like the banister from the Federalist building where G. Washington was sworn into office, examined a painting of two homes, that was used by abolitionist that slavery should be abolished and by the anti-abolitionist to argue that slaves were happy and all was fine.
