Let's Move! Team Spirit Challenge Alert! 🎉 Wear your grade team color on Friday, October 17th! During the event, we'll be on the lookout for the most spirited classes, and special prizes will be awarded to those who go above and beyond.

  • 3K & 4K – Teal
  • Kindergarten – Purple
  • 1st Grade – Blue
  • 2nd Grade – Green
  • 3rd Grade – Yellow
  • 4th Grade – Orange
  • 5th Grade – Red

Let's Move! 2025 Volunteer Sign Up Sheet! Thank you to all the families that attended our volunteer meeting on 10/3, reached out via email, text or in-person. Here is the sign up sheet to help with the event: https://forms.gle/BTpXUupv3mMQaaMN9 In addition, we are looking for a sponsor to donate mini bottles of water and a healthy snack. If you know any business that would like to support our event, please reach out to our PTA at pta@theharborviewschool.org.

Our next raffle drawing will be on Friday, October 17th! Register online or drop off your envelope by 10am on Friday, October 17th for a chance to win:

  • 5 students who are registered will win a Let's Move! T-Shirt 
  • 5 students who are registered and have raised at least $75 will win a Let's Move! T-Shirt and Jump rope. 
  • 1 student who is registered and has raised at least $100 will win a Let's Move! T-shirt, Jump rope and $10 Dunkin Gift Card

With your support, we’re raising funds to power:

Our fundraising goal is $15,000, with a super stretch goal of $20,000—and we know we can reach it with your help! We will be collection donations until October 31st.

Let’s Move! Event Details: Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 17! We’re planning an exciting event which I'll include four active activities outdoors (weather permitting). If it rains, we’ll bring the energy indoors to the auditorium.

Team Spirit Challenge: Each grade will represent a team color, and each class will choose a team name to show off their creativity and unity:

  • 3K & 4K – Teal

  • Kindergarten – Purple

  • 1st Grade – Blue

  • 2nd Grade – Green

  • 3rd Grade – Yellow

  • 4th Grade – Orange

  • 5th Grade – Red

Let’s see which team brings the most spirit! Please look out for information from your classroom teacher with more details. We are looking for students to dress in their team colors for the day of this event.

Student Incentives: Every student can earn fun rewards as they reach their individual goals:

  • Register – Let’s Move! Wristband

  • Raise $75 – Let’s Move! Button

  • Raise $100 – Let’s Move! Lunchbox

Plus, if a class meets its goal, they’ll enjoy a pretzel or ice party in January 2026!

School-Wide Goals: Together, we can unlock these awesome school-wide celebrations:

  • $12,000 – Comfy Cozy Day

  • $15,000 – Human Ice Cream Sundae Event 🍦(Can you guess which staff members will be covered in ice cream this time?)

  • $20,000 – Harbor View T-Shirts for All Students
